Welcome to my portfolio.
If you landed here, you must have sifted through videos of Ellen DeGeneres interviewing Kobe Bryant. I'm still fighting the Google SEO gods on that one.
I'm currently a senior platform editor at The Wall Street Journal in New York, where I strategize and edit across Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. I focus on engaging young audiences with news and other information that affects their day-to-day lives.
Beforehand, I was a on the social media team at CNN in New York, where I strategizes and published news content on the organization's main Facebook and Twitter accounts. And previously, I was a news associate at the Associated Press in Chicago, where I collaborated with other journalists to prioritize and edit news in states across the Central Time Zone.
I have a graduate degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where I focused on magazine writing and editing, as well as audio reporting.
I received a bachelor's degree in English writing from DePauw University, where I was a Media Fellow and editor of the campus newspaper. Like a good ol' liberal arts student, I've covered stories on a variety of topics: arts and entertainment, breaking news, business, religion, pop culture, the internet and travel. One time, a source told me she ate a rooster's heart.
People are at the center of all my stories. People surviving. People connecting with one another. People working hard at their job. People finding success. People overcoming their challenges. People putting a stamp on their city. People creating something meaningful.
